One of the most handy tools in AC Mirage that you should get is Blowdart. It is a silent projectile that you can shoot at your targets to put them to sleep. But that isn’t all there is to it. Using it you can even poison your enemies or cause them to rage. As such it can be very useful in dealing with a mob of enemies. So here is how you can unlock it and get its upgrades.

How to Unlock Blowdart in AC Mirage
To unlock Blowdart you can go to any Bureau and talk to the Musa brothers. Initially, you get the option to unlock it from Abu Jafar Muhammad, during the main story progression. Regardless of when you choose to get it, you will need 1 skill point for it. Here is how it goes:
- Go to any Bureau.
- Talk to the Musa brothers and choose the first option Unlock Tools.
- Hover over Blowdart and left-click or press the A button for Xbox or the X button for PlayStation controllers.
- Here, unlock it and you will now be able to use it on your enemies.
How to Get More Blowdarts
There are two ways to get more Blowdarts:
- Looting Chests: You have a random chance to find some blowdart when opening chests.
- Buying from Trader: You can buy blowdarts from any traders you come across. They should cost you 10 Dirham.
How to Use Blowdart in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
You can use blowdart by right-clicking to aim. Then just press left-click to shoot it at your target. Do remember you first need to equip it before you can shoot. Simply press and hold G on your keyboard. Now hover at Blowdart and release the key and you will equip it.
You can creatively use blowdart to make a guard fall asleep which can cause other guards to check up on them and cause diversion. Another good use is to put your targets to sleep to pickpocket them more efficiently.
How to Upgrade Blowdart
Similar to unlocking it, you can upgrade it at any Musa brother. Talk to one and choose the second option to upgrade your tools. Here are all the upgrades you get for it:
- Tier 1
- Extra Capacity: Increase ammo capacity by 2.
- Increase Duration: Increase the time for how long its effects will last.
- Extended Range: Increase the range of how far you can shoot it.
- Tier 2
- Cloud Impact: Deal area of effect damage with the current status effect of the dart.
- Lethal Dose: Poison the targets instead of making them sleep.
- Potency: Targets affected by it cannot be awakened by fellow guards.
- Tier 3
- Berserker Dart: Make the target attack anyone near them.
- Deep Slumber: Make the target sleep indefinitely.
