BG3: How To Get And Use Bloodstone In Baldur’s Gate 3

Bloodstone has a good resale value once you get enough of them in BG3. Farm as many as you can to sell them and get Gold Coins instead.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has a plethora of items that might seem useless by the broad standards of the game. However, these items can fetch some useful amount of Gold if you sell them to the vendors. One of these items is the BG3 Bloodstone that players might have chalked off from dead bodies but don’t know how to use.

While players will find it throughout the game via random loots or from dead bodies (usually True Soul gut), the dilemma still remains if they should sell them off or hold them for something important. So far, the game does not have any specific use for Bloodstone which is why we sold this common Gemstone every time we acquired it.

BG3 Bloodstone can be found as random loot or from the dead bodies of True Soul gut. You can interact with every dead body you find in the game and look for these common Gemstones in the Forgotten Realm. “Anyone can squeeze blood from a stone if the edges are sharp enough.” Unfortunately, the game does not have any particular use for this item.

If you head to any vendor, you can sell the Bloodstones that you have collected and get 75 Gold Coins for each. Players can use the Gold Coins to buy numerous items that can be quite handy while exploring the game. As for Bloodstone, this is the best use for this item currently in the game. So if you land on these common Gemstones, make sure you get rid of them and get something important in return.
