The new Hangout Events Series I is available from the Genshin Impact 1.4 Invitation of Windblume update. These Story Quests are choice-driven and your dialogue choices will give you different endings. The Hangout Events available forever once you get the Ver 1.4 update. You need to finish prerequisite quests and reach the required Adventure Rank to unlock Hangout Events. So today let us look at how to unlock Hangout Events in Genshin Impact.

To unlock Hangout Events in Genshin Impact, you need to reach Adventure Rank 26 and complete Song of the Dragon and Freedom. Song of the Dragon and Freedom is the Prologue chapter’s 3rd Act in the main Archon Quests. So now you know the basic criteria, here’s how to unlock these story events in Genshin Impact:

  • Finish the Archon Quest Prologue’s Act III – Song of the Dragon and Freedom.
  • Reach Adventure Rank 26 or above.
  • Finish 8 Daily Commissions.
  • Open the Journal.
  • Go to the Story Quests menu.
  • Click on the Claim button to get one Story Key.
  • Collect 2-story keys for unlocking each character in Hangout Events.
  • From the Story Quests menu, go to “Hangout Events“.
  • Double-click the character to start the story quest with them.
  • Once inside the character’s Hangout flowchart menu, click on the ‘Begin Hangout‘ button.

That’s how you can unlock the Hangout Event characters with 2 story keys. Once you use 2-story keys you can replay the mission as much as you like. This will help you easily fill up the story quest flowchart of each character. There are different endings for each Hangout quest so make sure to explore all of them.
