To unlock Hangout Events in Genshin Impact, you need to reach Adventure Rank 26 and complete Song of the Dragon and Freedom. Song of the Dragon and Freedom is the Prologue chapter’s 3rd Act in the main Archon Quests. So now you know the basic criteria, here’s how to unlock these story events in Genshin Impact:
- Finish the Archon Quest Prologue’s Act III – Song of the Dragon and Freedom.
- Reach Adventure Rank 26 or above.
- Finish 8 Daily Commissions.
- Open the Journal.
- Go to the Story Quests menu.
- Click on the Claim button to get one Story Key.
- Collect 2-story keys for unlocking each character in Hangout Events.
- From the Story Quests menu, go to “Hangout Events“.
- Double-click the character to start the story quest with them.
- Once inside the character’s Hangout flowchart menu, click on the ‘Begin Hangout‘ button.
