Genshin Impact Contending Tides Event: Start Date, End Date, Location, Rewards & More

Apart from the Windblume festival, Genshin Impact’s latest update 1.4 has added a new event called Contending Tides, providing an opportunity to win a lot of Primogems and Hero’s Wits. Notably, the event has already started and it will run until April 12, 2021.

Since we still have a few days left to claim rewards before the Contending Tides event comes to an end, we have got you everything covered here.

All About Genshin Impact Contending Tides Event

Start And End Date

As we have already mentioned above, the Contending Tides event has already started in Genshin Impact on April 2, 2021. The event will come to an end on April 12, 2021. If you want to take part in this event but don’t know how to do it then keep reading this post.

How To Unlock Contending Tides Event?

There are certain requirements that need to be completed to unlock this ongoing event. The first and foremost thing is to reach Adventure Rank 20. The next thing that you need to do is complete quests titled Break the Sword Cemetery Seal and Mountainous Summons.

If you don’t know how to get these quests unlocked then you simply need to head over to the events panel and click on ‘Contending Tides’ to navigate to Dr. Livingstone. There, you will get the world quest titled Break the Sword Cemetery, which needs to be completed before moving to the next quest titled Mountainous Summons.

Once you are done completing these quests, you will have the newly added Contending Tides event unlocked in Genshin Impact.

Location

For the uninformed, the Contending Tides event is located in the northern part of Dadaupa Gorge.

Contending Tides Event Rewards

Once you have unlocked the Contending Tides event, you simply need to head to the new marker shown on your map to start the combat trials. During the event, each day a new trial will be made available to take at the Contending Tides area.

These trials are divided into three difficulties — Normal, Hard, and Extreme. Irrespective of what difficulty option you choose, you will get rewards for completing each combat trial during the event. Making your work a lot easier, we have enlisted rewards for all difficulty options.
