Fortnite’s annual Halloween event ‘Fortnitemares’ is here and it has plenty of challenges to be completed. Fortnite players can earn a lot of in-game-rewards for completing challenges. One of this week’s challenge needs players to become a Shadow thrice.

How to become a Shadow in Fortnite (Fortnitemares Challenge)
In Fortnite’s Fortnitemares, you can only respawn as a Shadow after getting eliminated. There is no unique trick required to complete this task. Whenever someone eliminates you, you will respawn on the Battle Bus and drop into the match as a Shadow.

Once you respawn as a Shadow, you can play as a Shadow untill either match ends on your killed by another enemy.
If you are finding it hard to know how to get killed and complete Fortnitemares challenge quickly, building a few ramps or jumping off a skyrocketed building or high mountain is highly recommended.
Notably, Shadows in Fortnite have a unique bunch of attacks including dash, scream, slash and shadow jump. Once you respawn, you can take revenge on the living. However, taking revenge is not part of this challenge. You will be shown a message, “Join Midas’ Shadow Army and hunt down survivors.”
In order to complete this Fortnitemares challenge, you will have to become Shadow thrice. After getting killed for the first time, you will have fun hunting people, or you can quit the game and repeat the same again two more times.
Notably, you will only be able to play as a Shadow until Fortnitemares event is live, which is scheduled to end on Tuesday (November 3, 2020). So, make sure to use your time wisely and complete this challenge as quickly as possible.
