How to Forge Weapons in Fire Emblem Engage

Wondering how to Forge Weapons in Fire Emblem Engage? Then you are at the right place as this Smithy Guide is all you need. Most FE players were wondering if they could evolve their weapons like the previous installments of the game. Fortunately, that still remains the case with FE Engage and you can Forge Weapons and make them much more powerful in battle. Unlike most games, forging does not only mean new weapons but also upgrading your old ones to get better stats. Naturally, they will need crafting materials and gold but that is something to worry about for later. Since you are looking to forge weapons, we recommend you keep reading below and understand how the process works.

    FE Engage Smithy Guide

In FE Engage, it is quite simple to Forge Weapons. All you have to do is head to Smithy which can be found at the Plaza in Somniel Home Base of the Divine Dragon. Once you head over there and interact, you will get the following options:

    • Refine
    • Engrave
    • Exchange

It is the Refine option that will help you Forge Weapons in Fire Emblem Engage. However, you will not gain access to Smithy until the shop is placed there. For that, you will have to complete  Chapter 5: Retaking the Castle. You can now choose the weapon from the list that you want to upgrade. There might even be another version of the same weapon depending on the characters they are attached to.

The early-game requirements to upgrade weapons will be quite low. For instance, upgrading a Slim Sword will require the predefined Iron and Money. That is all the crafting materials you need at the start. While you progress, it is natural that all of these will increase when you try to forge weapons in FE Engage.

That’s all there is on how to Forge Weapons in Fire Emblem Engage. While you are here, make sure you check out our other FE Engage guides right here at Gamer Tweak.
