Wondering how to Flee Combat in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3)? Sometimes, there’s no shame in retreating from a battle that’s not yours. Moreover, running away from a powerful enemy in a strategic game like this makes sense. In traditional games like Final Fantasy, etc., a dedicated option would allow you to end the battle. But it seems that there is no way to run away from combat in BG3. In such cases, here’s how you can end an ongoing battle.

How to Retreat or Flee Combat in BG3

Unfortunately, there’s no way specific button that you can use to flee combat in Baldur’s Gate (BG3). However, there’s another way to get this job done. While it’s your turn, simply use it to create some distance from the enemy. You can use Jump or Dash movement options to get away from the battlefield. And once you are out of the enemy’s line of sight, the battle will end. The enemy won’t chase you and hence, you will successfully get out of harm’s way.

This method of fleeing combat in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3) is more effective if you have a stealthy character. You can also use a cover to avoid getting in the enemy’s range. You can also use the shadows or high-low grounds on certain spots for an advantage. It is also possible to use the Invisibility spell and run away from an enemy in BG3.

Some enemies may have a higher range than others. So you will have to keep moving away from them until the combat mode deactivates. Doing so is important in all scenarios as there is no predetermined range beyond which the enemies will stop attacking you. And that’s why, the best case is to keep running away until the chaos ends.

That’s all you can do to run away or flee combat in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3). Besides this, if you have any sort of trouble while playing this game, then we can help you through it. Simply head over to our BG3 section where we have stacked up plenty of helpful guides for you.
