Hades 2 Stuck on Downloading Content Troubleshooting Tips
There are a couple of workarounds if you are facing the issue with Hades 2 stuck on downloading content on Steam Deck. While there is no guarantee that they will work, these are the only ones that have seemed to work for players. Since Hades 2 is not launching on Steam Deck, here’s what you need to do to fix this issue:
- Please complete the Proton 9.0 download in the Downloads section. Then, go to Desktop Mode and try launching the game there. If the Proton download is pending, it might affect Hades 2 in Desktop Mode.
- You will need to access the compatibility tab, check the box that reads “use specific compatibility tool,” and select one, preferably Proton 9.0. Once you do this, try to run the game, and you can bypass the issue with Hades 2 being stuck on downloading content on Steam Deck.
Currently, these are the only two working troubleshooting tips that may help you bypass the issue of Hades 2 not launching on Steam Deck. We will update this guide as soon as there is a permanent fix to this issue.
