    Warhammer 40K: Darktide has been marred by several technical errors. Although the first-person co-op shooter is being praised for its creative environment that involves blood-thirsty zombies, many players are reportedly facing bugs that prevent them from enjoying the game. However, we’ll try to provide a temporary solution for some of these errors. So, here’s how to fix Error Code 2001, 2003 and 2007 in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

    It’s important to understand all these error codes are different but they might have fixes that are common between them. Without further ado, let us understand these error codes and their respective fixes:

    Fix Error Code 2001 in Darktide

    Players in Warhammer 40K: Darktide can encounter this error due to low system requirements or corrupted game files. You can also face this problem because of poor connection between the game servers. Here’s how you can fix error code 2001:

    Check your System Requirements

    You can do this by going to the game’s official website and checking for the minimum requirements. If your PC is unable to match those requirements, the game won’t work for you.

    Update Graphic Drivers

    Check if your drivers are outdated and then update them to the latest version.

    Test your Internet Connection

    Since this can be a network problem as well, try restarting your Wi-Fi router or Firewall and see if it helps.

    Fix Error Code 2003 in Darktide

    This bug is also known as the Disconnected from Server error in Warhammer 40K: Darktide It can send you straight back to the ‘Operative Selection’ screen. Here are a few fixes for it:

    Repair Game Files

    You can do this by launching the Steam Client. Next, click on Properties and navigate to Local Files. Click on Verify Integrity of Game Files. This will simply re-install any missing files and should fix the issue for you.

    Restart your Router and Restart your PC

    The classic troubleshooting tip to restart your router and also your PC may work in your favor to fix this error as well.

    Fix Error Code 2007

    The last bug on this list, this error code is known to appear randomly in Warhammer 40K: Darktide. It will disconnect you from the game. There’s no official fix shared by the developers for this error. However, you can try these:

    • Restart your Router
    • Use a VPN Connection
    • Change the DNS settings

    You can do this by heading to Network settings wherein you will have to select Properties. Click on the edit button in the IP settings and switch it to Manual. You can use 1.1.1.1 as the Preferred DNS and 8.8.8.8 as the Alternate DNS.

    If you’re still here and can’t seem to find a fix for any one of these errors, we have a last resort option – reinstall WH40K: Darktide. This is the ultimate fix and should resolve the errors you’re facing. Unfortunately, if you still can’t find a fix, we suggest you wait until the developers solve the issue in the next update.
