How to Fish in Paper Mario Origami King Overlook Mountain
You will play the very first fishing mini game in Paper Mario Origami King in Overlook Mountain. This one is essential to take the story forward but there will be more opportunities to fish if you want extra rewards too.
The first thing you should do is aim with the L stick towards the shadow of the fish you want to catch. The green line will show you the direction.
Now, to throw the lure in, hold the A button. The more you hold, the farther away you can throw. In case you want to pull it back, you can press the A button again.
If there are multiple fishes around, one of them will swim towards it to bite. When it notices the lure, you will see an exclamation mark right on top of their head.
The fish will tease you a bit by nibbling on it a few times. But when it is the right time, you need to press A once to reel it in. You will also know when to pull when a character near you excitedly says ‘now!’.
How to Get the Blue Shell Stone?
When you pull a fish that has a big shadow size, you will see that it is a Folded Cheep Cheep. A battle with four Cheep Cheeps will ensue and you have to win it to get the Blue Shell Stone. Easy peasy.
