The Female mutation gives a visual change to the fish by making it pastel pink. However, if you’re currently on the grind of getting every mutation in the game, there’s a catch. It cannot be caught if you’ve been playing Fisch for a while.
Female fish have a 30% chance of being caught within a new player’s first two lifetime catches if they are equipped with certain default female accessories. So, you will have to create a new account and dress your Roblox avatar in female accessories that are available by default. Note that you should not catch fish beforehand because being completely new is a required condition.
Since there’s a 30% chance to catch a fish with the Female mutation in Fisch, it’s all based on luck. You only get two chances!
If you do manage to obtain a fish with this mutation, note that it cannot be appraised by the Appraiser in Moosewood. It does not have a great multiplier, so you won’t make extra money after selling it. It is purely cosmetic. However, you might just get bragging rights due to how rare it is to obtain it.
