Golden Scarab is a Talisman that you should get as early as possible in Elden Ring. It is a Talisman that boosts the number of runes you get for every opponent you eliminate. How to Get the Golden Scarab in Elden Ring

You can get the Golden Scarab in Elden Ring from the Abandoned Cave. In the cave, you will have to defeat the Cleanrot Knights in order to receive this talisman from them as a drop.

Abandoned Cave Location for Golden Scarab in Elden Ring

You can find the Abandoned cave in Caelid.

  1. Fast Travel to the Smoldering Wall site of grace and go east. You will come across a ravine connected by trees. Cross the tree to enter the cave.
  2. Alternatively, you could also go to the Sellia Crystal Tunnel in Caelid. In case you don’t have this site of grace then you can also go to Chair-Crypt of Sellia. Once you reach any of these sites go southwest.
  3. Use the site of grace and then start progressing down in the cave. When progressing down be cautious of the scarlet rot, you can wait on platforms to reduce the rot buildup. Also, use the Crimson Tears flask to regain any lost health.
  4. Keep progressing until you see a deactivated Pendulum Statue. Here take left.
  5. Takedown any fungal spellcasters or rats that you may come across, you can also ignore and run past them.
  6. As you traverse the tunnel you’ll reach the golden mist wall.
  7. Pass through it to start the boss fight.
  8. There are two Cleanrot Knight bosses, one that uses a sickle and the other that combos a spear and a sword.
  9. Defeat both these bosses and they will drop the Golden Scarab Talisman.

How to Use the Golden Scarab

You can use the Golden Scarab by equipping it as one of your talismans. Once you have it equipped, it will grant you around 20% more runes for every enemy you slay.
