Shrunk down to the size of an ant, players must learn to survive in the Smalland: Survive the Wilds. Fighting off ants and insects by gathering precious resources is when the game is at its most engaging. A vital resource in the game is Flint, rock-based material that can be used to craft weapons. Let’s look at how you can get your hands on some Flint in Smalland: Survive the Wilds.
How to Find Flint in Smalland
Flint is a vital resource that can be used to upgrade your weapons in Smalland. It can be harvested from shiny black rocks that you’ll find on the forest floor. Flint is most commonly found on the sandy shores in the southern part of the map. You can make your way to the beaches by traveling south from your starting location in the game. To harvest Flint, players will have to first make a Mandibular Pickaxe that they can use to break down the rocks. Here are the materials required to craft one:
- 5 Resin – Can be found on barks of wood and trees
- 5 Fiber – Can be collected from sprouts
- 5 Wood – Can be found on the forest floor
- 1 Bull Ant Mandible – Collected after defeating a Bull Ant
Once you have the Mandibular Pickaxe you can start to harvest Flint from the beach in Smalland. We recommend you take caution as the beach is home to some of the most dangerous insects you’ll meet. Waterbugs, Dragonflies, and Green Beetles are some of the insects that prowl on the beach. Players can switch the game to Peaceful Mode if they find fighting the beast too bothersome. Once you have enough Flint in your inventory you can now use it to craft stronger weapons in Smalland.
