Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Where To Find Barboach

Published Date :

Barboach has been a staple part of the Pokemon series over the years and is again involved in the present-day Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. It is a water/ground type and is also called the ‘Whiskers Pokemon’. While it has the ability of turning into Whiscash, you need to catch Barboach first and train it till it reaches Level 30. With that being said, many trainers don’t know where to find Barboach in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. However, you need not worry, our guide will help you out.

How to find Barboach in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

If you want to hunt for Barboach, you will have to travel to the southernmost part of the Paldean map. Barboach is known to spawn in this area. First, go near the Watchtower which is located in South Province Area Four. From there, head towards the south where you’ll see a collection of little ponds scattered over a small area. We have marked this location on the map to help you understand better:

However, coming across a Barboach in these ponds quickly may depend on sheer luck. You might need to wait for some time and visit the area again for a new spawn to happen. Another way of doing this rather quickly is using the Autobattle feature. You simply have to defeat the Pokemon in the area for the respawn to happen. Chances are that you may come across Barboach when the next round of Pokemon spawn in the area. If you find Barboach, using a grass type creature to battle the ‘Whiskers Pokemon’ will be the fastest way to catch it.

That’s all about it on where to find Barboach in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. We hope that this guide helped you find your desired Barboach easily. If you found this useful, head over to our dedicated Pokemon Scarlet & Violet guides section for more tips and tricks!
