When Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age was released last year on Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, it did so with a couple of exclusive content. If you are one of those who are in possession of this JRPG a long time ago on PlayStation 4 or PC, you should know that it recently received a new update that added the new content.
Square Enix has recently confirmed that a new update for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is now available on PlayStation 4 and PC. It is an update that adds content that had only been available in the most recent port of the game. That is, the update adds 3 new sets to the Gambit system and adds the Job reset function.
It is also worth mentioning that these are not the only news that Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age players will be able to enjoy on PlayStation 4 and PC. We say this because version 1.08 of the JRPG for PS4 also added the OST (Original Sound Track) option in the music settings menu.
On the other hand, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age for PC update 1.0.40 has removed Denuvo protection. In case you do not know, it is an anti-piracy system that on some occasions bring performance problems and another kind of problem related to graphics.
Version 1.08 (PlayStation 4)
- Job reset function has been added.
- Gambit system has been expanded to three sets.
- “OST” has been added under the config menu “Music.”
Version 1.0.40 (PC)
- Job reset function has been added.
- Gambit system has been expanded to three sets.
- [Removed 3rd-party DRM “Denuvo Anti-Tamper.”]
