According to current reports, Final Fantasy 7 Remake should get an exclusive chapter, which was cut out of the game before the release, and the focus was therefore on the story of Tifa.
In April of this year, Square Enix released the first episode of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake exclusively for PlayStation 4. As the responsible level designer of the game revealed, the remake of Final Fantasy VII was one of the titles in which selected content was removed before the launch.
Among the things mentioned was a chapter that you would have contested with Tifa in Final Fantasy 7 Remake. In addition to additional playing time, this would have provided you with further details on the story of Tifa.
“The level concept was to show the beginnings of the tragedy that would unfold with the Sector 7 plate and also show Tifa’s charm as she takes on the role of a heroine. The scenario would start off with a rainy scene that would set the mood where you meet with Jessie,” the Twitter user Audrey says about it.

Why that chapter was ultimately removed was not revealed. It is also unclear whether it could possibly be released in the form of DLC or be part of the second chapter. As Square Enix confirmed a while ago, the next episode of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is already in the works.
The next chapter of the role-playing saga has not yet been given a specific release date.
