PS5 Showcase held recently revealed fresh titles on the plate. Fueling up the heat the announcements had unexpected releases like Final Fantasy 16. The next installment in the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy XVI is a new face of the Japanese RPG Franchise. Final Fantasy XVI latest trailer introduced the new face of the game, fantasy elements and combat style.
Final Fantasy XVI revolves around Joshua, a bodyguard and son of Archduke of the region. The trailer does not speak about the story in detail, it just provides a window of what Final Fantasy 16 is like. Not exactly similar to the Final Fantasy VII, the game focuses on blending new elements to the FF universe.
Monsters, War, Medieval fashion, big swords and dark magic is what the entire trailer is all about. The gameplay elements has Dark Souls influences. Following the new reveal, Final Fantasy 16 is going to be different and reserved for PS5 only.
FF16 producer Naoki Yoshida shared a short intro about the game on Square Enix site. He revealed next big information about the game is coming in 2021.

The exclusive footage, comprised of both battles and cutscenes running in real time, represents but a fraction of what our team has accomplished since the start of development on this, an all-new FINAL FANTASY game. FF16 Director Hiroshi Takai who directed FINAL FANTASY XIV & LAST REMNANT shared he is focusing on learning in-and-outs of PS5 to bring the best out.

Will Final Fantasy 16 release on PS4?
Not really, as per the reveal trailer FF16 is exclusive to PS5. Some of the games announced during the showcase have a seat reserved for PC also. It has been a long history of PlayStation title, they hardly made they way to other console and PC platform.
When is Final Fantasy 16 releasing on PS5?
No release date for FF16 has been announced by Square Enix. Based some leaks the game is coming in the third or fourth quarter of 2021. Sony already announced the game is PS5 exclusive, it is not releasing for Xbox Series X or Series S.
