Pokemon Scarlet & Violet features the new ninth generation of Pokemon. That means you get three brand-new starters to choose from. These are the standard Fire, Water, and Grass elemental types. But, they become dual types in their final evolution. If you too are wondering which Pokemon you should choose based on their final form then look no further. In this article, we will feature every starter Pokemon’s final evolution in Scarlet and Violet (SV).

All Starters Final Evolutions in Pokemon SV

Like the previous games, you get to choose a Pokemon at the start of the game. This Pokemon will accompany you through your journey across Paldea. So, it’s important to select a starter that fits your playstyle. These are the Pokemon you can pick from.

  • Sprigatito, the Grass Cat
  • Fuecoco, the Fire Croc
  • Quaxly, the Water Duckling

Like all the starter Pokemon throughout the series, they reach the final stages by leveling up. That being said, here are all the starters and their final evolutions.

Sprigatito Starter’s Final Evolution Form in Pokemon SV

Sprigatito final form Meowscarada

Sprigatito is a Grass-type Pokemon with good Attack and Speed stats. It evolves into Floragato at level 16. In this form, it can stand on its two legs. Then, at level 36 Floragato evolves into Meowscarada. This is its final form where it becomes Grass/Dark dual-type.

Fuecoco Starter’s Final Evolution Form

Fuecoco final evolution Skeledirge

Fuecoco is a Fire-type Pokemon with good HP and Sp. Attack. At level 16, it evolves into Crocalor. The major change in its design is the hat made of fire on its head. Then, in its final stage at level 36, Crocalor evolves into Skeledirge. In this form, it becomes a Fire/Ghost dual-type.

Quaxly Starter’s Final Evolution Form in Pokemon SV

Quaxly final form Quaquavel

The last one on the list is the Water-type, Quaxly. It has a decent Attack stat so choose it only if you are a fan of Water-types. At level 16, it evolves into Quaxwell where it grows a bit taller. Then, at level 36, it evolves into the final form, Quaquaval. This is a Water/Fighting dual-type with a constant dancing movement.
