How to Get Bones in Sons of the Forest

Sons of the Forest Build Bone Rack

The best way to farm bones in Sons of the Forest is heading to one of the 12 caves in the game. While you are here, you will face numerous enemies and you need to defeat them. Once you are done, you will need to carry these bodies to some place. You can do so by interacting with the dead bodies by pressing E. Once you are outside and in a safe space, drop them using G. Now you need to set up a fire and burn the bodies. When the ashes remain, you will get the bones along with the skull in Sons of the Forest. However, the number of bones is not fixed and is random. So you might have to rinse and repeat the process if you are in need of more bones. You might also get lucky by defeating the inhabitants who carry bones and taking it off them.

The main use of Bones in Sons of the Forest is to make armor, weapons and other structures inside your base. There are a few furniture that can be made using Bones.

You can build a Bone Rack using a few sticks in order to save your bones for future use. Since they can take up your inventory space, a Bone Rack is a better option to have in Sons of the Forest. You can build it by heading to your book. Simply press B and head over to the storage section to find it.
