How To Evolve Porygon In Pokemon Legends Arceus

Published Date :

Porygon is a unique Pokemon that you can evolve twice in Legends Arceus. It is unique because as per the game’s lore, it is an artificial Pokemon, created using computer programming. And the method to evolve it isn’t something simple like leveling it up. So let us quickly check how you can get Porygon 2 and Porygon-Z.

You need Upgrade and Dubious Disc to evolve your Porygon in this game. Both of these items can be purchased from the Trade Post in Jublife Village. You need a total of 2400 Merit Points if you want to get the items needed for both these Evolutions.

You have to use the Item “Upgrade” on your Porygon to evolve it into Porygon 2. And to evolve it further into Porygon-Z you need to use the item “Dubious Disc”.

  • Upgrade costs 1000 Merit Points.
  • Dubious Disc costs 1400 Merit Points.

Alternatively, there is a small chance that you might find them in Space-Time Distortions. But this is not a very reliable method as the items here spawn randomly.

So the best way to get them is by purchasing them. But the problem is, it will take quite some time to get them. The only way to get Merit Points is by returning Lost Satchels. While exploring the Hisui region you will randomly come across lost satchels of the NPCs. Pick them up by pressing A and they will be sent back to their owners and you will get Merit Points in exchange.

How to Get Porygon

If you don’t already have one, then you can catch a Porygon from Space-Time Distortions. While any distortion can work, try going for the ones that spawn in Crimson Mirelands. Once you see one battle or sneak up on it and catch it.

This is everything you need to do to get Porygon 2 and Porygon-Z in Pokemon Legends Arceus. For more evolutions of other Pokemon be sure to check our guides on how to evolve Misdreavus, Petilil, and Magmar. And for more help on this game don’t miss out on our Pokemon Legends Arceus guides.
