In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet you should get yourself a Charcadet and evolve it. Especially if your starter Pokemon wasn’t Fuecoco. Because Charcadet evolves into Armarouge a Fire/Psychic type Pokemon or Ceruledge a Fire/Ghost Pokemon. The best part is you can catch Charcadet quite easily in the Asado desert of this game. So without further ado, here is how you can evolve your Charcadet into Armarouge or Ceruledge in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

How to Evolve Charcadet in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

You can evolve Charcadet in this game by giving it either Auspicious Armor or Malicious Armor. Their evolution will depend on the version of your game. So if you have Scarlet your Charcadet will evolve into Armarouge. And if you have Violet then it will evolve into Ceruledge.

You can get these items from an NPC in Zapapico town.

1. Go to the East Pokemon Center in Zapapico town.
2. From there go west and talk to the NPC standing next to a small water fountain.
3. Their speech bubble will say “Fancy a Trade”. Completing this trade will give you the item needed for evolving Charcadet.

How to Evolve Charcadet to Armarouge

This works for Pokemon Scarlet players.

1. Go and talk to the NPC in Zapapico town as explained above.
2. They will offer you Auspicious Armor in exchange for 10 Bronzor Fragments.
3. You can get Bronzor Fragments by catching or defeating Bronzor. You can find Bronzor at:
   • East Province
     • Area 2
   • South Province
     • Area 4
     • Area 3
     • Area 2
   • West Province
     • Area 1
     • Area 2
4. After you get 10 Bronzor Fragments, trade them with the NPC to get Auspicious Armor.
5. Open your bag and go to the Items section.
6. Finally, select it and click on Use this Item.
7. Now, choose Charcadet from your Pokemon Party and it will evolve into Armarouge.

How to Evolve Charcadet to Ceruledge

This works for Pokemon Violet players.

1. Talk to the NPC near the small fountain in Zapapico town as explained above.
2. They will offer you Malicious Armor in exchange for 10 Sinistea Chips.
3. You can get Sinistea Chips by catching or defeating Sinistea. You can find Sinistea at:
   • East Province
     • Area 3
   • South Province
     • Area 6
4. After getting 10 Sinistea Chips, trade them with the NPC to get Malicious Armor.
5. Next, open your bag and head to the Items section.
6. Finally, select it and click on Use this Item.
7. Now, choose Charcadet from your Pokemon Party and it will evolve into Ceruledge.
