- If you are about to catch a Chansey, then use a Luxury or a Friend Ball to catch it. These balls help you boost friendships with the caught Pokemon.
- You can give Chansey a Soothe Bell to hold. This is a Held Item used to increase friendship levels. You can buy one at the Delibird Presents Shop in Mesagoza for 5,000 Pokedollars.
- Make use of the Picnic mechanic in this game. With the help of this feature, you can set up a picnic with the Pokemon in your current team. There, you can bathe your Chansey to increase the friendship.
- Make use of berries like Kelpsy, Pomeg, Hondew, Grepa, Qualot, and Tamato to raise the friendship. However, they decrease the base EV in one stat. Since Blissey has a high HP and Special Defense only, you can sacrifice other stats to evolve Chansey.
