Final Fantasy XIV- How To Unlock Eureka Orthos

Fans of the ever-popular Final Fantasy XIV were delighted to hear the announcement of Patch 6.35. The patch introduced the game’s third deep dungeon Eureka Orthos, a massive lab hidden below the Crystal Tower. Just like in the previous Deep Dungeons, players will get a chance to run through a gauntlet of challenges and levels with special items and upgrades waiting for them at the end. Let’s take a quick look at how to unlock Eureka Orthos in Final Fantasy XIV.

How to Unlock Eureka Orthos in Final Fantasy XIV

Players will need to complete these tanks before they can make their way to the dungeon.

  • Complete the main scenario quest “Endwalker”
  • Complete floor 50 of the Place of the Dead
  • Reach Level 81 in either Disciple of War or Magic

You can start the dungeon solo or queue up with a party of up to four other players. To get the quest started talk to Koh Rabntah in Mor Dhona, this will start the quest Delve into Myth.
Players will be capped at Level 81 at the start on floor 1 and will have to gain EXP by clearing each floor they progress. You will also gain access to Orthos Aetherpool gear consisting of an Orthos Aetherpool arm and armor. Enhance these items as you gain levels in the dungeon as your normal gear will have no effect inside Eureka Orthos.

Eureka Orthos Loot and Rewards

The rewards players get are based on the Level of the player and their progress level through the dungeon.

  • For players between Levels 81-90
    • Floor 10 – 10 Allagan tomestones of poetics, 1000 gil, and experience
    • Floor 20 – 20 Allagan tomestones of poetics, 1500 gil, and experience
    • Floor 30 and up – 30 Allagan tomestones of poetics, 2000 gil, and experience
  • For players between Level 90
    • Floor 10 – 10 Allagan tomestones of poetics, 20 Allagan tomestones of astronomy, 5 Allagan tomestones of causality, 1000 gil
    • Floor 20 – 20 Allagan tomestones of poetics, 40 Allagan tomestones of astronomy, 10 Allagan tomestones of causality, 1500 gil
    • Floor 30 – 30 Allagan tomestones of poetics, 60 Allagan tomestones of astronomy, 10 Allagan tomestones of causality, 2000 gil
