This week Square Enix released a demo for the new RPG game Dragon Quest XI S. As the performance check shows, the new RPG edition runs on the PlayStation 4 Pro in 60FPS.
The new edition called Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age will also be available for the PlayStation 4 in a few weeks. To give you a first impression of the new features, Square Enix provided an extensive demo this week.
As can be seen from a performance check of the demo, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age is displayed on the PS4 Pro in 60 frames per second. The frame rate on the Nintendo Switch was still 30FPS.
The demo for Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age is available with immediate effect and gives you a look at the various improvements of the new edition – including the orchestral soundtrack and the photo mode. Whoever completes the main scenario of the demo can look forward to three talent seeds, which will give you additional skill points in the full version.
The title will be released on December 4th, 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. In addition to the orchestral soundtrack and the photo mode, other innovations are offered, such as the possibility of going on the adventure in 2D or Japanese and English voice actors.
