To fix this all you need to do is turn V-Sync Off and then change the resolution to Borderless Windowed Full Screen. Doing this will ensure that the screen tearing issue is fixed and that it doesn’t happen again.

Second, if you are getting prompts for the Xbox controller while using Keyboard and mouse you are not alone in this. Due to a weird bug, a lot of users have complained about being prompted with Xbox buttons while using the keyboard and mouse input.
