Dates for Dragon Ball Fighter Z Online Tournaments 2020 has not be announced, but we see the one that took place in 2020 i twas active for around 9 days. So I am updating the old dates here and as soon as we got enough details this guide will be updated.
Bandai Namco announced through their blog, the Dragon Ball FighterZ Online Tournaments 2019 signing date begins on October 11 at 9 AM (Friday). Dragon Ball FighterZ Online Tournaments will start on October 19th at 12 PM (Saturday).
Dragon Ball FighterZ Online Tournaments Regions:
Previous Dragon Ball FighterZ Online Tournaments was held and restricted to Europe, so players from this region are only allowed to participate. Over 600 players max can signup in advance to participate. For this year we are waiting for details from Bandai Namco whether will be extended to other regions or still redirected to the same one.
How to signup for Dragon Ball FighterZ Online Tournament:
You can confirm your entry in the game at the Tournament Mode Desk. It is on the right of the Lobby. Visit the France 1 Area, currently, we had not found any online link or a separate page to confirm participation. Only PS4 players can join the tournament, it has not been extended on Xbox, PC, and Switch. Here are the quick steps of the signup process.
- Signup and then go to Tournament Mode Desk.
- Join the official online tournament which will move you to the preliminary round lobby.
- Players will be sorted to different preliminary round lobbies to start the 1st round matches.
- After the 1st round 8 Top layers in each lobby will progress to the 2nd preliminary round lobby.
- After the 2nd round 8 Top layers in each lobby will progress to the 3rd preliminary round lobby.
- After the 3rd round 8 Top layers in each lobby will progress to the Final Tournament Matches.
Dragon Ball FighterZ Online Tournament: Preliminary Rounds vs. Final Round
Every Preliminary round lasts for 25 minutes. Players with a fight with each other and they will be ranked on the basis of wins at the end of the round. If there are less than 8 players in the round all are qualified to progress to the next round.
Final Round or the Final Tournament is a single-elimination round. You will compete in Circle Match and the Tournament Staff will announce the opponents. It is highly important to join the Circle managed by the Tournament Staff. You can win by knocking down the opponents, 300 counts and you are the winner.
