The new Double Tap on Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Series 9 is a gesture-enabled control function. This feature allows users to perform some primary controls by just tapping their index finger and thumb together.
While similar to Assistive Touch, this takes gesture control to the next level with the help of the new S9 SiP. It makes it a lot easier to navigate and interact with functions without much effort in the watch. That being said, follow along with this guide to learn how to enable and use Double Tap on the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
How to use Double Tap on Apple Watch Ultra 2
Using this Double Tap gesture on the Apple Watch is pretty straightforward, all need to do is keep this feature enabled for your watch, and you are good to go.
Once the feature is enabled, the double tap gesture will help you to perform the primary controls on whatever screen you are on the Apple Watch. For instance, if you are using the timer on the watch, you can double-tap your fingers to start/pause it. The same goes for calls; double tab to receive and end calls.

Also, it is worth noting that you won’t be able to use the double tap function in some cases like; when Low Power Mode, Sleep Focus is active, or your wrist is down.
