What are Tiers in Dota 2 & How do they work?

S Tier

The topmost Tier in our Dota 2 list includes some overpowered characters like Beastmaster, Disruptor, Death Prophet, Lina, and the like. These heroes are quite flexible and can fit any team. Moreover, they can carry the team as they can usually guarantee high win rates for your team.

A Tier

Well, if you missed out on picking any hero from the S Tier, the A Tier heroes are your next bet. They have characters like Bloodseeker, Slardar, Earth Spirit, and Lifestealer to name a few. Solid heroes like these can even be termed the “meta” of DOTA 2.

B Tier

This Tier includes the lowest-ranked characters in the list But that doesn’t mean they are useless. They are average but if you want to choose a different tactic and take your opponents by surprise, then go ahead. And more importantly, if you were unable to add any heroes from the above two tiers, then you can always rely on the B Tier to come good for you.

That’s everything covered on the Dota 2 Hero Tier list. We hope that this Tier List helped you add the best heroes to your team. For more tips and tricks, and strategy guides, check out our Dota 2 section on Gamer Tweak.
