In “Dig It,” server events are special occurrences that provide players with opportunities to obtain unique items, shovels, and other rewards. These events occur periodically and can last for around 6-7 minutes, though some events are target-based. Currently, there are 7 events in the game, each offering its own set of challenges and rewards. More events could be added in the future. What are the Dig It Server Events?
Rainbow Event
During the Rainbow event, a rainbow appears over one or two islands. On these islands, players have a small chance (approximately 5%) to dig up treasures that have the rainbow trait. These rainbow treasures have 4x the value of regular items and can be sold for higher prices. If you’re really lucky during this time, you may end up digging multiple Rainbow items.
Meteor Shower Event
In the Meteor Shower event, a large meteor will appear somewhere on the map. Players can come together to dig through the meteor, which has health points (HP) scaling with the number of participants, making teamwork more valuable.
When the meteor is dug up, all contributing players receive a Meteor item. One lucky player among the participants may obtain the mythical meteor. During this event, you will also see the Meteor Shovel available for purchase.
Lunar Clouds Event
The Lunar Clouds event introduces an island with a series of small clouds leading up to a larger cloud, where players can find a Genie alongside the Lunar Shovel and the Star backpack. This is where you can purchase the Lunar Shovel. Digging on the large cloud will also help you discover special items exclusive to the Lunar Clouds island. If you complete the Collection Index of the Lunar Clouds island, you get a mount.
Falling Stars Event
During the Falling Stars event, players can dig up falling stars that appear, and you can either sell them or collect 20 to get the Solar Shovel on the Tropical Island.
Woolly Mammoth Event
During the Woolly Mammoth event, players have the opportunity to unearth the Woolly Mammoth on Permafrost Island. To boost your chances, use a high-quality shovel with a good magnet to increase the chances of digging up this item.
The event isn’t just for one lucky player — multiple players can acquire mammoths during a single event.
Ionizer Shovel Event
In the Ionizer Shovel event, players can buy the Ionizer Shovel under the UFO that spawns on a random island. It costs D$185000 and has a 30% chance to apply a random modifier and more than one person can buy it during this event.
Colossal Worm Event
The Colossal Worm event gives players a chance to dig up the Colossal Worm item but you must hurry, use a good Shovel and magnet because the event ends when the first person unearths the item.
Rainstorm Event
The Rainstorm event brings about a rainstorm within the world and while it’s running, you can dig anywhere to catch fish items.
You can talk to the Gandolf NPC on Nookville island to spend Robux and summon a particular event based on your requirements.
