D2R is a challenging game – it requires you to at the tip of your toes to constantly modify your builds and be on the lookout for enemy swarms. But if you are a returning player and looking just to enjoy what the new Diablo 2 Resurrected has to offer, then there are many Cheats, Trainers, Hero Editor changes and more out there you can do to progress fast in the game. Blizzard does not officially support any of the cheats in offline mode, so we suggest you use these only in your offline single-player experience. Please do not use any kind of cheats in online mode, and kindly be fair to other players in the game. So with that said, let’s look at all D2R cheats and shortcuts below.

Diablo 2 Resurrected (D2R) Cheats & Console Commands
There are two main cheat codes in Diablo 2 Resurrected we want to share with you today that don’t affect other players’ gameplay. The first one is to get more surround chatter sound to make the world feel more alive by pressing the Enter key and typing in cheat code “soundchaosdebug”. This will make the voice of NPC chatter sounds more prominent for you. Second one is to type in cheat code /players 1, /players 2, /players 3, /players 4, /players 5, /players 6, /players 7, and /players 8 to increase the difficulty of the enemies on the map. This is good if you want to fight high-difficulty monsters for more loot, or even lower the difficulty if you are dying in the game frequently.
Diablo 2 Resurrected Trainer & Cheat Engine
There are many Trainers and Cheat Engines available for Diablo 2 Resurrected on PC. We even tested out a trainer, which worked for us without any issues. But be aware that most of them are fake ones out there that also download malware to your system. Only rely on the websites you are familiar with and are known to be genuine. Do not compromise your safety just for a trainer, it’s simply not worth it. So, here’s what we were able to churn out in an offline Diablo 2 Resurrected Trainer:

D2R Hero Hex Editor
You can use a Hex Editor to edit your hero save the file in Diablo 2 Resurrected. This is cause D2R saves all the character specs and info in the file formats like ctl, ctlo, d2s, key, ma0, ma0, etc. So you can open the d2s Hero file using a Hex Editor to change the Diablo 2 values as following:
- First, keep a copy of your Save files, then go to the game.
- Drop or keep all your items in your stash.
- Now note down your Hero character values which you will be changing.
- Doing this will make it easier to find values and edit them.
- They will look like dex xx, eng xx, gold piece xxx, stamina xxx, str xx, vit xx, etc.
- You will need to convert the Decimal values to Hexadecimal values to use in the Hex Editor.
- So if you want to change a value of 28 to 46 then you should change the hex code from 1C to 2E.
- We used the Rapidtables website to easily convert these values.
- Once you are done, save from the Hex Editor and start the game to see the changed values.
Diablo 2 Resurrected Secret Tips & Tricks
Diablo 2 Resurrected Cow Level
The Secret Cow level makes a return to the new game, and it’s better than before. To unlock this Cow level in Diablo 2 Resurrected, you have to be in camp and then take Wirt’s leg and use a tome of Identify in Horadric Cube. This will open up a new portal beside you. Go through this portal to enter a dimension where all cows are angry and attack you with an ax. So make sure you are at least lev 40 to easily enjoy this secret level. Also, keep in mind that you need to the game in all difficulty modes to unlock this level.
How to Avoid Corpse Run
If you are bored of doing the corpse run every time you die, we a secret trick. Next time you die in the game, just save and exit your game fast. Then restart the game to find all your previous weapons and gear right there in the town. You can just pick them and continue your adventure. But there is a negative side to this. You will lose all the gold you were carrying at the time of your death. But still, you can blast your way to the corpse with full gear to retrieve those gold.
