Destruction AllStars is no longer one of the PS5 launch titles. The publication has been delayed for a few months. The market launch will not take place until February 2021.
Most PS5 players shouldn’t be too unhappy about this. Because in the same situation, Sony made an announcement with which the mood can be brightened up again: Destruction AllStars will be available in February 2021 as a PlayStation Plus game. So subscribers don’t have to dig into their pockets for the title.
Sony commented on the delay in the following manner: “This may be disappointing news for some of you who were looking to play the game at launch, but we hope you understand the decision. For those of you that have already pre-ordered the game, be it via PlayStation Store, PlayStation.com, or at retail, your purchase will be refunded.”
Destruction AllStars is a multiplayer game in which you can compete with players from all over the world. “We want as many people as possible to experience the mayhem on PS5, and what better way to do that than to provide the game to our PlayStation Plus members?” added Sony.
Destruction AllStars will not only stay on the PlayStation Plus offer for one month, but two months. This move could be an indication that Sony is not changing the PS Plus titles for the PS5 on a monthly basis in the initial phase. After all, there aren’t too many games that can be included in the subscription. Details should follow shortly.
Due to the delay, Sony’s PS5 launch line-up has been reduced by one more title to the remake of Demon’s Souls, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
