The Destiny Rod can be bought at the Arch for 190,000 in-game cash from the NPC named Caleia.
This won’t be quick and easy, though, because Caleia will require you to have 70% of the Bestiary completed. Only then you will obtain the prompt to buy the “Destiny Rod” for 190,000C$ from here.
If you haven’t unlocked the location of the Arch yet, here it is on the map.
Get on your choice of boat and go north from Moosewood as per the map. But when you’re starting form the pier, what you should do is take a right turn. You should be able to see a silhouette of the arch in the distance.
As you near it, you will see its name hovering in the air while you’re in the Ocean so, you can make your way in that direction. Caleia will be sitting at the lowest level of the arch in her nice blue outfit. Speak to her, and she will ask you to show her your Bestiary. If you don’t have 70% of the Bestiary unlocked, she says, “I’m not seeing the results I’m looking for. Come back when you have more fish discovered…”
The Bestiary is an index or list of all the fish you’ve caught till now, so your objective to unlock the Destiny Rod is to collect a lot of cash and catch a lot of fish until you fulfill Caleia’s requirements.
