What is the Depth Strider in Minecraft?

Minecraft Depth Strider Explained

The Depth Strider Enchantment in Minecraft Java & Bedrock will help you move even faster underwater. If you are withing a water body and need some swift movement, Depth Strider is the Enchantment that will be the most useful. Since the enchantment is quite underrated, many players seem to have forgotten about it. However, it’s the best form of enchantment while you are within a water body.

While it starts at level one, level three movement speed equals running on land. So as you can see, this is highly advantageous if you are escaping something and have water around. Along with that, a dolphin swim speed buff will prove wonders with the Depth Strider Enchantment in Minecraft. As we mentioned earlier, this enchantment has one drawback. Sadly, you can only apply them to your boots.

How to Get Depth Strider

Depth Strider is common like most enchantments in the game. You will need an Enchantment Table to get this enchantment. Additionally, there is a low chance that players can get an enchanted book with Depth Strider by fishing, trading with Librarian Villagers, or from Treasure chests.

That should cover everything there is on the Depth Strider enchantment in Minecraft Java & Bedrock Edition. While you are here, make sure you check out our other Minecraft guides right here at Gamer Tweak.
