In this guide, I will show you how to Defeat & protect your home Tarr Slimes in Slime Rancher 2.

Tarr Slimes are created when a Largo eats a Plort of a Slime that it’s not made of. For instance, if a Pink Tabby Largo eats a Cotton Slime Plort, it will turn into a Tarr. On the surface, a Tarr seems formidable as it is difficult to beat in the early game. But the Tarr has a massive Weakness, that being Water. Tarr hates water so much that it disappears when it comes in contact with it. If you want to defeat a Slimes in Slime Rancher, here is what you do.

In the Fabricator in the Science Lab, you can make a Water Tank. This becomes a dedicated slot in your Vacpack that fills up with Water. You can collect Water from any Water Source and hose it down on a Tarr. This is the Best way of defeating a Tarr. To get a Water Tank, you will need 450 Newbucks, 10 Angler Plorts, 10 Puddle Plorts, & 10 Deep Brine. You can also beat a Tarr Slime by picking it up & throwing it into the Slime Sea.
