Death Stranding Will Not Be A Stealth Game, Claims Hideo Kojima

As the new trailer for Death Stranding dropped fans have been trying to understand the mechanics of the game and how the interaction with other elements in the game will be like, and although you will be surrounded by enemies throughout the game you won’t necessarily have to be in stealth all the time.

In a recent twitter post, the creator of Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima tweeted out that this will not be a stealth game.

This tweet certainly clarifies that the game will certainly have something new in stores for everyone to experience, in the past he has also claimed that the game will not have a death screen. The company gave out this statement

“There is no traditional ‘game over’ state in Death Stranding. Lose your life during combat and you’ll find yourself in an upside-down realm, searching for a way back to the living. Choose your combat methods carefully, as killing your foe is almost never the solution and every death carries a consequence.

The game will certainly deal with dependency on each other, as the main character travels with a baby bound to him, the company sent out another tweet which said.

This hints towards an article PlayStation wrote which said, “Help other travelers without ever crossing paths via asynchronous online gameplay. Send supplies, share safe houses and walk in the footsteps of fellow couriers to reunite civilization,”

It is certain that Death Stranding will be like no other game and will be released on November 8th, 2019.
