Hideo Kojima has been notorious for playing with the minds of his audience with captivating and brilliant storylines and narratives which spans out to different generation of consoles. So it is easy to get confused in all this but you would never expect the man to be confused himself with his own game.
Hideo Kojima spoke to Financial Times recently, ahead of the release of Death Stranding and seemed to be confused himself, he said “Death Stranding… even now, I don’t understand the game. Its world view, gameplay, they are all new. My mission is to create a genre that does not currently exist, and which takes everyone by surprise. There is, naturally, a risk in that…”
This is more or less to throw the audience off-balance and keep the game shrouded in mystery as much as possible, but as far as we know Death Stranding will all be about creating back the connection between the different places in the USA as you begin from the east coast and make your way to the west.
Death Stranding is on the verge of becoming a breakthrough as we have not yet seen anything like this before and with true Kojima style it will certainly have opinions divided and a lot of questions will be raised.
Death Stranding is being developed by Kojima Productions and will be releasing on 8th November 2019 exclusively for the PS4.
