What is the Warzone 2 Data Heist Public Event
The Data Heist is a “hold-the-fort” type event in Warzone 2 Season 2. Note that this event is exclusive to the Resurgence Mode in the Ashika Island map. During the second circle collapse, three uplink stations will go live on the map. Players can go to these stations and try to download the intel by hacking into the system. But once players start the hacking process, they’ll be opposed by waves of Shadow Company AI soldiers. Killing these enemies will reduce the amount of time required to hack into the system.

Apart from enemy AI, players will also face other players trying to gather intel. If an enemy team comes close to the system or deploys a DDoS Field Upgrade, then the download will stop. So make sure you go in with a squad and not alone to deal with all the enemies.
