In the day and age of pushing pre-order copies with added bonuses for players to submit into buying a game without knowing how it will be, Cyberpunk 2077 developers choose to do the opposite. CDPR representative has confirmed that every player will get the same game no matter what.
It is common to see developers try and push out their games bundled with a pre-order bonus but CD Projekt RED believes in delivering a proper good product as their primary goal.
A post on the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit by redditor u/TLOU2_God_pls_now shows that a twitter conversation in which CDPR representative clearly says everyone who purchases the game will get the same content.
The rep said, “No, we don’t do that. Every person that buys the game gets exactly the same in-game content, no matter if they buy it in pre-orders, on release date or 2 years later.”

In an industry which thrives on taking the most out of the customers while delivering a game broken in pieces and then glued together back with DLC and expansion packs, it is nice to see someone is looking out for the interest of the audiences.
CDPR had done the same with The Witcher 3 as all the DLC was free and only the expansion packs were sold separately, which carried the story further but the game, when launched, was complete and did not feel lacking anything.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on April 16th, 2020 for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
