What was earlier just wishful thinking and an R&D project has been confirmed by CD Projekt RED, it has now been confirmed that multiplayer will be a part of Cyberpunk 2077. It not clear as to when the multiplayer option will be made available for Cyberpunk 2077 but it is coming to the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 is the next game by CD Projekt RED which will see the players explore the world of Night City where humans have been experimenting by cybernatic upgrades which give them more abilities and now there is a thin line between humans and robots.
It is not certain as to what the multiplayer option will bring to Cyberpunk 2077 but the single-player adventure seems to be concrete with everything in place. CD Projekt RED have listed out job openings for people who would like to help them create this multiplayer option in Cyberpunk 2077.
The players will get to play as V who they can mold and create as per their wishes and is supposed to give players more freedom. CD Projekt RED has been developing Cyberpunk 2077 for over 6 years and has been one of the most anticipated games which will be releasing in 2020.
Cyberpunk 2077 is developed by CD Projekt RED and will be releasing on 16th April 2020 for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
