Cyberpunk 2077 Developers Getting Death Threats After Game Gets Delayed

Published Date :

As everyone knows, Cyberpunk 2077 was delayed to December 10th of this year. It sounds like a joke, but it’s all true. The Polish company has decided to dedicate this time to polish the game because it will release the title on all current-gen, next-gen consoles, and also on PC and Google Stadia.

Although the game has actually entered the gold phase and in recent weeks they have posted funny memes on their official social profiles, we will have to wait a little longer, nothing so alarming of course at this time being. However, there are so many things that are alarming on the internet, especially the idiots who take it personally.

We perfectly understand the disappointment, also because Cyberpunk 2077 has actually been delayed four times since the announcement at the Microsoft event a few years ago, but giving death threats to the developers is inhumane. To reveal all this was Andrzej Zawadzki, the Lead Game Designer of Cyberpunk 2077, with a message on Twitter.

I want to address one thing in regards of the @CyberpunkGame delay. I understand you’re feeling angry, disappointed and want to voice your opinion about it. However, sending death threats to the developers is absolutely unacceptable and just wrong. We are people, just like you,” the developer said via his official Twitter account.

It is not the first time that the Polish company has received death threats for postponing its title, and the company itself is not the only one to have received them. The situation is really escalating and these “fake fans” should just be ashamed.

Cyberpunk 2077 is therefore expected to arrive on December 10 on PC, PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and Google Stadia, while the next-gen update for PS5 and Xbox Series X will arrive in the course of 2021.
