The Kingdom Of Hyrule and the Sky Islands have many things to offer to Link for his quest against evil. Landing on items such as Crystallized charges can seem confusing to many, as players are not aware of the new in-game mechanics of the game. So here is our complete guide explaining Crystallized Charges and how you can use them in Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom.

What are Crystallized Charges in Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom?

    use crystallized charges

Tears Of The Kingdom introduces players to an entirely new concept of Crystallized Charges. These are Crystals made by condensing Zonai Charges. The basic function of these Zonai Charges is to charge the Energy Cells which in turn work as a power source for your Zonai Devices. The capacity of these Energy Cells can be increased up to 8 slots. To do this players would need to have the Crystallized Charges required to upgrade the Energy Cells.

Players can exchange Zonaite Ores found in Depths for these crystals. You can exchange them in Forge Constructs which can be found in different places. One Crystallized Charge can cost you 3 Zonaite Ores while a large one will cost 3 large Zonaite Ores.

Once you have about 100 of these or 5 large ones you can exchange them for an Energy Well. To do so you can follow these steps:

    • Find a Crystal Refinery closest to you. ( There are two, one next to the Nachoyah Shrine and one outside Lookout Landing)
    • After which head toward the Steward Construct.
    • The steward will then refine your Charges to an Energy Well.

It is worth noting that you can exchange Zonaite Ores for Zonai charges if you ever need them. Also, one large Crystallized Charge consists of 20 Zonai Charges.

That is everything you need to know about Crystallized Charges in Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom. If you want to know about how you can use the Zonai Device Dispenser in TOTK then here is your guide
