As Chapter 3 of Season 1 is out, Fortnite has introduced some Delta-One challenges with new characters and cosmetic items. These Delta-one challenges come from the collaboration of Fortnite and Gears of War. There are five challenges in the Delta-One set and one of the challenges is to crouch behind a barrier. In this guide, we will explain to you how to complete this challenge in Fortnite.
Where to Crouch Behind Barrier in Fortnite?
To complete this challenge you need to find a barrier with a Gears of War logo imprinted on it. There are five such barriers spread across different locations in Fortnite. The five locations are:
- Greasy Grove
- Logjam Lumberyard
- Sleepy Sound
- Condo Canyon
- Coney Crossroads
But completing this challenge might not be a piece of cake as many players will be on their way to complete it.
How to Crouch behind Barrier?
Walk by one of the barriers with the Gears of War logo imprinted and crouch behind it, taking a cover from the opponents. Crouching behind the barrier while approaching the barrier will not complete the challenge. You have to walk and then crouch beside it to complete the challenge. Here’s how to crouch behind the barrier:
- For PC players, the default key to crouch is left CTRL. Press left CTRL to crouch.
- For Xbox players, Hit LB crouch.
- PS players may Press L1 to crouch.
You will be rewarded with 20,000 XP and unlock your next challenge after completing this challenge. Completing all the five challenges will unlock Crimson Omen Spray which is the same logo imprinted found on barriers. In addition to the spray, players will also receive a reward of 100,000 XP. As the gears of War event end on December 17, make sure to complete the five challenges in the Delta-one set to earn rewards.
