The following section of the guide contains spoilers from Act 3. Therefore, I suggest you continue only if you are up for it.
Here’s How to Get the Craterflesh Gloves in BG3
The Craterflesh Gloves are sold by an NPC called Echo of Abazigal in the Murder Tribunal. To get to him, you will have to go through a series of events which starts from “Investigate the Murders” side quest in Lower City (Act 3). Complete the objectives in this quest and find the Serial Killer who’s behind the murders.
Eventually, you will find out that the Serial Killer is a Dwarf known as Dolor. He is murdering people to Impress the Murder Tribunal. After a confrontation with Dolor, you need to defeat him and collect the Handbag from his corpse, you will need it later. Once you have it, go to the Candulhallow’s Tombstones (X:73; Y:21) and find a way in.
Once inside, go to the office room and slide the bookcase and you will find a cellar door. This door will take you to the Murder Tribunal. The cellar door will be locked, so you can unlock it by pressing the button just behind the painting on the wall.
Make your way past the cellar door and eventually, you will come across the Which Guards. These guards will only let you inside the Murder Tribunal if you have proof of murdering someone. Well, thanks to the Handbag that you collected from Dolor, it contains the hand of one of his victims. You can show it to the guards and get entry inside the tribunal.
After entering the Murder Tribunal, speak to none other than the Legendary Bhaalspawn, Sarevok Anchev. While speaking to him, express your urge to become an Unholy Assassin. Do what Sarevok says and he will then summon a spirit, whom you have killed. In reality, the spirit is not of the person killed by you but by Dolor. The Murder Tribunal will judge you by listening to how you killed that person. You can use some Deception to convince them of your fake killing.
Once done, Sarevok will ask you to perform one final killing before getting baptized and becoming an Unholy Assassin. Here, you are supposed to kill that flying elephant known as Valeria. So unalive Valeria and get baptized by entering the pool of blood. Now that you have become an Unholy Assassin, return back to the Murder Tribunal anytime and you will find the Echo of Abazigal there. Interact with him and purchase the Craterflesh Gloves in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Note: Killing the Echo of Abazigal won’t get you any item from his wares. He is already dead and the only way to get the Craterflesh Gloves from him is by trading.
