How To Drift In Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled – Get Full Boost

Racing without Drifting is incomplete and in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, drifting is linked with a free boot that you might need while racing. Drifting is not a piece of cake in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, it requires practice and is linked with an Unstoppable Trophy. Drifting is a crucial movement because many tracks in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled has lots of turns. With proper drift, you can refill the boost meter and get a speed boost. So let’s begin with how to drift in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.

How To Drift & Refill Speed Boost Meter

While racing when you reach a corner press R1 or L1 to drift towards the left or right side. On Xbox One use RB or LB. While drifting the speed will be reduced for some seconds, but watch the meter on the bottom right corner of the screen, do this properly three times and you get a Full Boost. While turning just press the key and hold it for a short time to drive the kart in the direction. Once activated drifting will help you to stay on the track and regain your speed back.

Full Boost will be a lifesaver, a fill meter will give a speed boost for a short while allowing you to easily reach ahead of others. Remember drift properly three times back to back and fill up the boost meter. Drifting in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled requires accuracy or else you will be thrown out of the track.

So practice is must, a few basic tips like holding the accelerate speed long before you see the green light. This gives you a short speed boost, certain characters in the game come with higher acceleration offering you an instant boost at the start of the race while some are amazing on Speed. Avoid using Power s Sliding all the time, and don’t forget to collect as many Wump fruits to go a level further in boosting.

Even staying in the air for a longer time will give you boost, after jumping if you can manage to stay around 1.5 seconds or higher you will earn a boost after landing. One of the fastest ways to win the race is to learn all the race shortcuts.
