Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time Will Be Officially Revealed Today

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be officially revealed today on Monday (22), confirming rumors of a new game of the franchise after leaks.

The confirmation came via Crash Bandicoot’s official Twitter account which stated the following: “Tune in June 22 @ 8AM PDT / 4PM BST for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time reveal,” says the publication, which also joked: “Official reveal > leaks, promise”. Check the tweet below:

Previously this game was leaked by the Taiwan rating agency. They openly leaked the title Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. After the leak came out, Toys for Bob officially confirmed that they would announce their latest game in the near future. Interestingly, a few screenshots from the 4chan forum were also leaked showing the new form of Crash. Not to miss the release date was also leaked which is slated for October 9, 2020.

The last really unprecedented Crash – not to mention, therefore, the remastered version of the adventure and racing games -, entitled Mind over Mutant, was launched in 2008. The announcement made on Monday (22) should include details such as the release date and available platforms.

It’s About Time will tell a story about Crash who discovered a mysterious mask with quantum powers. Through the mask, the red hedgehog will be able to visit various dimensions and different times to stop the evil plan of the game’s antagonistic character.

From the rumors and leaks that surfaced on the internet, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will only be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, the official confirmation from Activision and Toys for Bob could be said differently, considering Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy was also released on PC.
