Smalland: Survive the Wilds shrinks you down to the size of an ant and lets you explore a vast open world full of magic and mysteries. Players will face bugs and insects that now appear larger than life, and craft weapons and items to aid their progress. Players can also build crafting material that they can use to make stronger weapons and items. Let’s look at how to make a Clay Mortar in Smalland.
How to Build a Clay Mortar in Smalland
Clay Mortar is a special item you can craft in Smalland to help reinforce your equipment. To craft some Clay Mortar, players will have to first find Clay. The best place to look for Clay in Smalland is on the island in the southern part of the map. Players will have to cross the river and make their way into the forest region. To harvest the Clay, players will have to make themselves a Spiked Pickaxe. The Pickaxe will be unlocked once you harvest some scrap metal found in the forest.
Clay Mortar can only be crafted using a Windmill in Smalland. Here are the items you’ll need to collect to build a Windmill:
- 10 Silk – Can be crafted using a Loom & Spindle
- 10 Refined Wood – Can be crafted with a Stonecutter
- 10 Fiber String – Can be crafted using a Loom & Spindle
- 5 Fiber – Can be collected by chopping trees and plants
Once you have all the required materials you can build your own Windmill. With your Windmill, you can now craft a Clay Mortar by adding 2 Clay and 1 Bug’s Lymph. Bug’s Lymph can be collected by killing the various insects in the game. With Clay Mortar you can now build yourself a Forge.
