How to Find Cotton Slimes in Slime Rancher 2
Fortunately, in order to find Cotton Slimes you don’t need access to any locked areas of the map. Cotton Simes are found very abundantly in the Rainbow Fields. These are a large stretch of Slime field to the west of the Conservatory and are lavish with Pink Slimes and Cotton Slimes that you can feed for Plorts. You can spot a Cotton Slime with their characteristic bunny ears.
Now Cotton Slimes have a very specific diet of Veggies in Slime Rancher. So you can feed them any Veggies at any point to get a single Cotton Plort. However, if you want to be efficient with farming these cute blobs, you need to feed them their favorite food which is Water Lettuce. When fed with Water Lettuce, Cotton Slimes will drop two Cotton Plorts. These Plorts can be very useful to upgrade your Conservatory experience. You can also sell these valuable Plorts for a decent amount of Newbucks.
An important thing to remember is that Cotton Slimes have very high jumping capabilities. So in case you’re trying to construct a Corral to farm Plorts, you will need to purchase the High Wall upgrade so they don’t jump out and escape.
