The Corrupted Aura Event is similar to the Tranquil event, where you need to wait for the Corrupted Aura weather which happens hourly and lasts for 10 minutes. A few red colored orbs will reach a certain crop in your garden, converting its fruits to the Corrupted Mutation, giving them an x20 multiplier. This is all connected to the Corrupt Channeller NPC and here’s what you need to know about his quests and rewards.
Corrupt Channeller Quests and Rewards in Grow a Garden
When you go to the center of the map, you will see the Corrupt Channeller NPC that you can interact with. He will ask for Tranquil plants with specific weight requests, similar to the previous Hungry Plant update.
So, in your mission to get these crops, first ensure that you have them in your garden. If not, purchase them from the seed shop. To make them tranquil, make sure you set a reminder to be in-game every hour (or stay afk while ensuring you don’t get kicked out) and your crops will turn Tranquil via the Zen Aura event.
You cannot ensure that a particular crop naturally gets the mutation; however, you can increase your odds by equipping the Tanchozuru pet that can be obtained from the Zen egg. Its passive ability gives you a chance to mutate nearby fruits into Tranquil.
You can also use the Mutation Spray Tranquil which is one of the rewards of submitting a certain fruit to the corrupt Channeller. Lastly, if you have tried out pet mutations and you have one with Tranquil, this will also give you a chance of applying this mutation to a nearby crop.
With all of this combined, you can obtain Tranquil fruits and submit them to the Corrupt Channeller. Here are all his quests and rewards.
