Loyalty refers to the decisions you will have to take in the game. Whenever you interact with any of the characters you are given a series of options you can select. The Conviction System has these three beliefs – Dogmatic, Iconoclast, or Heretical written in brackets before the answer. Each of them have levels that you need to complete.

However, the choice of selecting either one of them is fully in the hands of your character. This means that while exchanging a dialogue with any character, you can go with the decision you find most appropriate and collect your points to increase your level.

It is also possible for you to change your Loyalty and select any Conviction you want to choose. Furthermore, you can even try and collect points for all three of them simultaneously.
