Unfortunately, at the time of writing, Ready or Not lacks the official controller support. The game won’t be able to recognize your controller for now. However, during the alpha phase of Ready or Not, the devs did confirm in one of the FAQs that the studio was planning to incorporate it in the beta. While that hasn’t been the case yet, the devs might just release the support very soon. Since the game went through its first major update after its release and the devs are aware of the need for controller support, players can expect the support in the upcoming updates.
For players looking to play the game on the controller, you still have the option to use the Steam Controller Layouts. With it, you will be able to map most of the keys to your controller and play the game accordingly. Additionally, you can also use controls from community layouts. Here are the steps you can follow:
